ATTIC FLOORING
Attic Flooring for storage is one of the best ways to create space in your home. If you have insulation in your attic, then you can't use it for storage without adding the appropriate flooring, or you'll squash the insulation and reduce its efficiency. We use AtticZone StoreFloor to raise the boards above the insulation, giving you an area of attic storage while maintaining the integrity of your insulation.
You can floor as much or as little of your attic as you want to create as much storage space as you need. Our attic flooring package includes all boards (we typically use 3/4” plywood, but can also use chipboard or OSB if you prefer) and can be cut around obstructions in your attic. Simply put, it's the best system out there, professionally installed at your convenience!

Attic flooring, such as AtticZone StoreFloor, refers to the installation of a sturdy and durable flooring system in the attic space of a home.
There are several compelling reasons to consider installing attic flooring in your home:
Attic flooring provides a solid foundation for storing seasonal items, holiday decorations, luggage, and other belongings that are not frequently accessed but still need to be kept in the home. It's a convenient solution for optimizing both garage storage and attic storage.
By installing attic flooring, you can better organize your stored items, making them easier to access and locate when needed. This helps to declutter other areas of the home, such as closets and garages. Attic shelving can also be incorporated for added organization.
Attic flooring creates a safer environment in the attic by providing a stable surface to walk on. This reduces the risk of accidents and injuries when accessing stored items or performing maintenance tasks in the attic. Attic ladders can be installed to ensure safe access.
Attic flooring can help improve energy efficiency in your home by providing an additional layer of insulation. This helps to prevent heat loss through the attic, reducing energy costs and making your home more comfortable year-round. Attic insulation is key to maximizing energy efficiency.

Attic flooring allows you to utilize the often-underutilized attic space for storage purposes. By creating a solid platform above the attic insulation, you can safely store boxes, bins, and other items without compressing the insulation or compromising its effectiveness.
In addition to optimizing attic storage, attic flooring also benefits garage storage. By creating a dedicated storage space in the attic, you can free up valuable space in your garage for parking vehicles, setting up workstations, or storing larger items such as tools and equipment.
AtticZone StoreFloor goes above and beyond traditional attic flooring solutions by providing a raised platform that sits above the attic insulation. This innovative design prevents compression of the insulation and allows for proper airflow, ensuring that your home remains energy-efficient while maximizing storage space.
